Looking for Fame and Fortune? Look no further than international markets.
“Go west young man” is a saying that many of my generation grew up on. At first, it symbolized the great American frontier that was opening up, and the advice offered to young, often impoverished Americans and recently arrived immigrants to the United States, as a place where they could realize fame and fortune in the expanding markets of the Western U.S.
More recently, it has come to represent the opportunities available to Canadians from Eastern and Atlantic Canada in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
