Drucker said “Culture eats strategy for breakfast!”. Join Enerplus as they share the ‘shift’ they are making through culture. They will share lessons and experiences acquired through their Culture change journey. Ray Daniels, the SVP of Operations at Enerplus, also leads the People & Culture Team and will share how they have evolved their message and approach with respect to culture.
In this session, participants will learn:
Ray Daniels oversees the company's operations in Canada and the U.S., and leads the People & Culture function. Mr. Daniels joined Enerplus as Vice-President of Oil Sands in 2007 and became Vice-President, Development Services in 2009. In 2011, he was appointed the position of Senior Vice-President, Canadian Operations and his role was expanded in 2012 to include U.S. operations. In early 2017, his role expanded again to include People & Culture. He started his career in technical roles with Chevron Petroleum and held some management positions with Conoco U.K. Limited and ConocoPhillips Canada over a 23-year period. Before joining Enerplus, he served as ConocoPhillips Canada's Vice-President on the Surmont oil sands development.
Mr. Daniels is a P.Eng and a Chartered Engineer with a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) from Aberdeen University.
