Refund & Credits Policy

Strategic Capability Network (“SCNetwork”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to providing a transparent and fair refund process for our members, event participants, and guests. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, credits, and transfers may be issued for memberships and event registrations.
1. Membership Refunds & Cancellations
- All memberships are non-refundable. Once a membership has been purchased, the associated fees cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
- Memberships may be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation, no prorated or partial refunds will be provided for the remaining membership term.
2. Event Registration Refunds
- Full Refund Eligibility: Event registration fees are refundable if cancellation occurs at least 24 hours prior to the event start time.
- No Refund Within 24 Hours: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event start time are not eligible for a refund.
3. Event Registration Transfers
- Registration fees may be transferred to a different SCNetwork event of equal value.
- Transfers must be requested prior to the start of the originally registered event.
- If transferring to a higher-priced event, the price difference must be paid.
- If transferring to a lower-priced event, any remaining balance is held as a credit on the member’s account for future use.
4. Registration-to-Membership Credit
If a non-member pays for an event registration and subsequently becomes an SCNetwork member within one (1) calendar year, they may have their first-year SCNetwork membership dues reduced by the amount of the previously paid registration fee.
- The credit applies once per individual.
- Credits cannot exceed the cost of the first-year membership dues.
- This discount is not automatically applied. Eligible individuals must request the credit, after which SCNetwork will provide an appropriate one-time coupon code to be used during membership checkout.
- Proof of the original event registration may be required.
5. Refund Processing Methods
- Credit Card Refunds: Refunds to credit cards may take up to 5 business days to process, depending on the financial institution.
- Cheque Refunds: Cheque refunds are not provided under any circumstances.
- Alternate Refund Method – Interac e-Transfer: Approved refunds will be issued via e-transfer where applicable. Recipients are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their banking information.
6. Exceptions
SCNetwork may consider exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis under extraordinary circumstances. Any exception granted is solely at SCNetwork’s discretion and does not guarantee future exceptions.
