Start off the year with this interactive and insight-driven workshop on best practices for CEO succession led by Odgers’ Leadership Advisory Practice.

Grounded in extensive experience advising boards and informed by Odgers’ proprietary research, this session explores what truly drives successful leadership transitions.

Kim Stangeby, Partner and Head of Board and CEO Advisory Services, will provide practical frameworks and proven strategies to help boards anticipate challenges, avoid common succession pitfalls, and position their organizations for long-term success.

Presenter

Kim Stangeby
Kim has spent over twenty years as a strategist in advisory and C-suite roles. Her area of specialization is strategic transformation and change, with a focus on board effectiveness, CEO-board strategic engagement, and C-suite strategic planning. As Head of Odgers’ Board + CEO Advisory Practice, she is responsible for helping clients implement high-impact organization transformation solutions, including Board advisory, culture and talent strategy, succession planning and strategy development.

Kim’s most recent executive role was as the Chief Strategy Officer at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. As part of her mandate, she was responsible for Long Range Infrastructure Planning, and served as the Interim Chief Human Resources Officer during the organization’s transition to a new CEO. Prior to the GTAA, Kim held executive and C-suite roles at the Bank of Montreal, the Royal Canadian Mint, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Eloise Moodie
Eloise is a Partner in Odgers’ Leadership Advisory Practice and leads the firm’s Succession Management and Talent Development offerings, known as ASPIRE.Eloise’s experience encompasses succession and talent development solutions for public and private sector clients throughout North America. She leverages her deep experience in executive leadership assessment, coaching, and team effectiveness to seamlessly work with organizations at all stages of growth as they identify the gaps and potential in their top teams, develop leaders ready to lead transformation, and maximize the impact of their C-suite.
