Bringing together experts, innovators, and industry peers, this event will provide a platform for exploring practical solutions to address the complexities of managing talent, and ensuring organizational success in the face of change.
The summit will include three presentations:
Talent Tectonics: How digitalization and demographics are changing the purpose of Human Resources
Dr. Hunt presents insights from his book, Talent Tectonics: Navigating Global Workforce Shifts, Building Resilient Organizations, and Reimagining the Employee Experience. This session discusses how HR organizations can adapt to rapid changes and skill shortages, featuring practical examples from Dr. Hunt’s career as a psychologist who has enhanced work environments through technology.
Fail Fast With 21 Toys: How Failure Ties to Growth & Innovation
“Failing fast” is essential for innovation, allowing for quick learning and adaptation. This workshop led by Matt Todd helps HR professionals shift their mindsets regarding failure through interactive gameplay. Participants will explore their current approaches to problem-solving and definitions of failure. They will learn strategies for effectively managing unexpected changes. By the end of the session, participants will develop healthier relationships with failure and understand that permission to fail fosters creativity, growth, and innovation.
Empowering Leaders: Driving and Managing Disruption
In this session, Dr. Amir Bahman Radnejad and Dr. Oleksiy Osiyevskyy, two experts in innovation, will discuss how to effectively drive and manage disruption in today’s business landscape. The dialogue will be enriched by audience participation, providing leaders with practical tools to navigate transformative change within their organizations.
Panel Discussion: Lessons Learned to Better Navigate Uncertainty in HR

In addition to his business endeavors, Dr. Radnejad is an Associate Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Interim Chair of Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Social Innovation at the Bissett School of Business, Mount Royal University in Calgary, Canada. His research focuses on sustainable development and innovation strategies, making him a sought-after speaker at business management conferences worldwide. Oleksiy (“Oleks”) Osiyevskyy, PhDOleksiy (“Oleks”) Osiyevskyy, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary, where he also serves as Associate Dean of Policy and Program Development. With expertise in innovation management within corporate and public sectors, Dr. Osiyevskyy is passionate about making entrepreneurship deliberate, reliable, and effective as a growth engine for startups, established companies, and nations. A founder of his first internet startup in 2003, he has since supported ventures across industries like education, medical devices, and e-commerce. His academic leadership includes directing major initiatives such as the Global Business Futures Initiative and facilitating the Creative Destruction Lab – Rockies accelerator. A prolific scholar with 80 publications, Dr. Osiyevskyy combines rigorous research with practical insights to advise on innovation strategy, technology commercialization, and corporate transformation.
