Glain (pronounced ‘Gline’ like ‘shine’) Roberts-McCabe is the founder and President of The Roundtable, a company that helps leaders navigate change, disruption, and growth by building the mindsets and behaviours that matter most. A sought-after expert and trailblazer in the field of group coaching, Glain works with executive teams and high potential fast trackers to make a bigger collective impact. With over 30 years leadership, business, and coaching experience, Glain combines and evidence-based approach with pragmatism. Glain has advised and worked with senior executives and high value leaders at some of the world’s most respected brands including PepsiCo, Royal Bank of Canada, Ontario Power Generation, Toronto International Film Festival, McCain Foods, CAA Club Group, Lindt Canada, and PwC.
Roundtable programs have received multiple awards including the prestigious Gold Award by the Canadian Awards for Training Excellence and The Roundtable has been named Best External Consulting Advisory in Canada by the Canadian HR Awards. Glain is the author of two Amazon best-selling books: ‘The Grassroots Leadership Revolution’ and ‘Did I Really Sign Up for This’ and has written for several publications including: The Globe & Mail, HR Reporter, Canadian Manager Magazine and Training & Development Magazine. A frequent keynote speaker, panel moderator and podcast guest, Glain has worked with HRPA, The Strategic Leadership Forum, HRIA, I4PL, York University, CSAE and countless other organizations both nationally and internationally.
In 2019, Glain was selected from a group of global coaches to appear in ‘An Earned Life’, a documentary about global coaching guru, Dr. Marshall Goldsmith. Glain is a Master Certified Trainer for Management Research Group and holds certifications in the LEA360, IDI, Personal Directions, TCI Assessment and holds advanced group and team coach training from Royal Roads University.
Her personal mission is to inspire ambitious leaders to connect to their bigger purpose and passion so that they can lead with intention and leave a legacy that feels good.
